About FireRiskHere (paste-ready)
FireRiskHere is a live wildfire site for the United States. It shows every active wildfire in the country on a map, refreshes the data every 15 minutes, and tells visitors how many fires are within 50 miles of their location. The site is free, runs without an account, shows no ads, and uses no trackers. It is not an emergency channel — evacuation orders and operational emergency information come from official county and state agencies.

For screenshots, the two pages worth capturing are:
- Front page — the per-visitor view: nearby fires, distances, and a local map.
- National map — every active wildfire in the country, with filters for state, status, and size.
